In the last 3 years, trainer George Weaver has had 3 runners come off of similar long layoffs (211 days, 212 days and 331 days) and running in a turf sprint at SAR. All 3 won at off odds of 4-5, 7-2 and 25-1. The works for those 3 winners were very much like these works. Comes in as a first time gelding here.

Quite an impressive debut for this 3YO gelding. He was near 33-1 in that 11-horse field and stayed well off the very quick early pace. He exploded late to get the win. Luzzi allowed him to be closer to the pace in last and moved early before tiring a bit. Massive rider move to Jose Ortiz. Sizzling drill since last.
